On September 9, 2006, Oakland Park B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge #2407 gathered and chartered a bus to transport a group of 28 officers and members to the Homecoming Visitation of the District Vice President, Jim Lind, VPSSE, South Broward Lodge 2380.

After an enjoyable evening of welcoming talks from Gerald Carter, PDDGER and District Vice President Jim Lind, BPSSE, a Chinese dinner, dancing, and commradire, we all reboarded the bus for the return trip to the 2407 Lodge.

At the Lodge, we all gathered for more fun and joined with other members who were unable to attend the outing for the Eleven O'Clock Toast.
